When the Swift Boad liars put together their first ad, they only had enough money to air it in three cities. The media did the rest. They showed the ad hundreds of times over several weeks, and interviewed O'Neil on every talk show around. Within a short time, the entire nation had a distorted view of Kerry - and the SB liars were raking in big bucks from right wing supporters. Thank you, corporate media. Of course...it's deja vu all over again.
This time it's the Kerry remark about Mary Cheney. We all know that there was no horror expressed when Alan Keys referred to Mary as a 'hedonist' - and put down gays and lesbians as sinners. Not a word. But the question to the public on all the cable polls asks if Kerry's remark was inappropriate. Not appropriate... but inappropirate. Subliminal suggestion in action.
There was no discussion of Dubya's denial about having dismissed the importance of Osama. Nah, that's not important. Once again.. the media is guilty of it's usual malpractice.
